Are you people nuts? You support the reporter putting a note on Henning's door?

Admit the reporter made a mistake. And then maybe you would seem somewhat logical in your arguments.

During the Phillips era, when schools were being mothballed in a very elusive fashion, Henning didn’t attend one parent/district meeting and ignored all but one email. One lousy response out of hundreds of parent emails. Her commitment is disappointing to zone 5. It felt like she only wanted the position as fluff for her resume and the families of her district were an annoyance.

Yep, Beth is really scary alright. Maybe, Sonja Henning never watched All the President's Men where Woodward and Bernstein go out to one of their source's homes to get confirmation on part of their story. Hardly, what one would call "crossing" a line. Keep up the good work, Beth!!

On a related note, we --meaning those who subscribe to this site's push for equity in Portland's neighborhood schools-- need to be recruiting candidates to run for Henning's Zone 5 school board seat. And for Trudy Sargent's Zone 6 seat.

The election is coming up sooner than most people realize, and an early start is a good thing.

What's the status of PPS Equity's campaign PAC, Steve? Even without knowing who's running (well we know Buel is running for Gonzales' seat)I'm ready and willing to kick in some money to get the PAC up and rolling.
