An oxymoron, because in my opinion if you're black in PPS class makes little difference, we're all disadvantaged by the system. I don't post much because I am over the "deny-oppression-to-make-you-feel-okay" school. If one really believes that the disparities have nothing to do with race and everything to do the lazy, shiftlessness of the people, I suggest that one look in the mirror. There may be someone who embodies privilege and tacit racism looking back. If children receive a separate and unequal education these social and economic ills will continue in perpetuity.
