Of course, who do they come to when they need footsoldiers to canvass door-to-door, talk with neighbors, work and campaign for something beneficial to kids? TEACHERS! And golly, gee whiz, how many teachers are going to sign up for this 'campaign corps' after repeated cuts to pay, benefits, working conditions, and PURPOSEFUL AND NASTY contract stalling and lack of settlement? The PPS needs the backing of teachers (we are also taxpayers, duh), to get anything passed in the city these days. Good luck PPS---you are not endearing yourself to your workforce......not one little bit. FOOLISH!
