    Is it more appropriate to say nearly two years working under the expired contract provisions? Would not the community of PPS stakeholders be better served by finishing the last few months of this school year under the provisions currently in force giving negotiators until next September to iron out their considerable differences with provisions of the contract currently in force?

    Howard, any contract settlement they arrive at would be retroactive to when the previous contract expired.

    Looks like the district made that choice impossible, anyway. Guess I will be out supporting teachers on a picket line.
