It is great to see Portland teachers being so active in the face of these attacks. These attacks are going on around the country.
As Lee Sustar points out in this article 40,000 teachers have been laid off around the country. In Washington DC 388 high-seniority teachers were laid off while keeping on newly hired teachers.Washington D.C show the same disregard for teachers as PPS.
Keep up the fight teachers, others around the country are looking at what happens here.
